Pinterest

A few days ago a friend directed me towards the website www.Pinterest.com.  I am hooked and am not entirely sure why.  During my perusing I found a number of 'motivations' and decided to email them daily to a friend to help us both as we attempt to re-establish a healthy lifestyle.  Here's one from a few days ago (the day before my 43rd birthday)- the day I decided, yet again, to get into better shape.  Today is the day after my birthday, unofficially the first day of my new year! I'll end each post with the day's exercise accomplishments!  Thirty minutes aerobic (2 on the elliptical, 28 on the treadmill-running twelve at 5mph, walking the remainder), six pushups, 25 sit-ups.  What a departure from what I used  to accomplish.

I LOVE THIS! I always complain that I'm not losing weight quick enough, then get frustrated and quit. Need to make my mind realize that it's better to lose slow than not a all!
